Casements

Casement windows are hinged on one side and are made of one sash. This design provides for an unobstructed view and a large ventilated area. And since the crank is on the bottom of the frame, it allows a convenient way to operate the window.

  • Available in widths over 3 feet and heights up to 7 feet.
  • Casements can be combined with top or transom windows.
  • Fixed casements are available.

Awning

Like a Casement window, Awning windows have the crank on the bottom of the frame for ease of opening. Since the hinge is on the top of the sash, the window projects out, allowing the window to stay open during rain.

  • Available in widths up to 7 feet and heights up to 7 feet.
  • Hinges from the top and projects out from the bottom.
  • Often used with large picture windows.

Single Hung

Single hung windows only move in one direction and because of this simpler design, they are more cost-effective option. Since they do not project out, they are work well in patio and porch areas where people would be walking.

  • Available in widths over 4 feet and heights up to 8 feet.
  • The divided lite is customizable.
  • A dual-point locking system is standard.

Glider

Gliders (also known as a horizontal sliders) are wider and tall than other windows which allows more light into a room, but also has a simpler design much like a Single Hung and also being cost-effective. The gliders can stack in either direction or both. And for larger openings, a larger middle fixed window with two gliders on either side allows for a grand

  • Available in widths up to 14 feet and heights over 6 feet.
  • Slide configurations include XO, OX and XOX with larger configurations available.

Picture Windows

Fixed Picture windows can be large and dramatic, or small and understated for added light and view into a room. With hundreds of geometric shapes, the design possibilities are without limits. An option available is to glazed the glass directly into the frame, eliminating the need for a sash, resulting in narrow sight lines, more light, and larger unobstructed views.

  • Available in widths and heights up to 13 feet or heights up to 13 feet with a maximum 72 square feet.
  • Since a sash is not required, the frame is narrower allowing a large view area.
  • Can be combined with specialty shapes.

This type of windows has many available shapes, allowing as many design possibilities.

  • Available in widths and heights up to 13 feet or heights up to 13 feet with a maximum 72 square feet.
  • Available in various geometric shapes including circle, half circle, oval, arch, triangle, trapezoid, hexagon and octagon.
  • As with the Picture window, specialty shapes have a narrower frame.

Commercial

Storefront windows are needed for a business to display their merchandize and make a presence. However, homeowners are now using storefront window to let in more natural light and filter light deeper into the home, creating a connection and views to the outdoors.

  • Available in 4-11/16”, 6-5/8” and 7-5/8” thick glass.
  • Depending upon the glass thickness, available widths are up to 6 feet or heights up to 11 feet with maximum area of 48 square feet.
  • Same type of storefront windows can be mulled together.
